My daughter goes to Activity Days at our church, and this week she was supposed to share one of her talents or hobbies. She loves to bake, so she decided that she wanted to bake something and share it with everyone. She decided on Chocolate Chip Mini Muffins. We used the recipe HERE. We didn’t have any chocolate chips. Oh, the shame! We did however have lots of bags of Hershey’s Kisses that I bought at the Target 75% off clearance.
So, I took one of the bags of Valentine themed Hershey Kisses, unwrapped them, and chopped them up into chocolate chip size pieces.
Here is what they looked like all chopped up. I only used about 1/2 of the bag that cost me about .62. So, they make for some really cheap chocolate chips

Here is the final product, she did a great job. They turned out yummy! After every holiday you can find the Hershey Kisses on clearance. I have always been able to find them at Target for 75% off. Pick some up, because they make a great alternative to chocolate chips, which can be so expensive sometimes.
