Upcoming Safeway Sale – Print Coupons Now!

by Christy on May 20, 2010

Starting Wednesday, May 26th, Safeway will have an in-ad coupon making Oscar Mayer hot dogs only .99. That a great deal! To make the deal even better, you will want to print the 1.00/2 coupons, so your final price will be only .49 a package. You could have a barbecue with the whole neighborhood at that price.

Make sure you print the Oscar Mayer 1.00/2 coupons now, before they are gone!

Thanks to The Krazy Coupon Lady for the head up on this super deal!

It’s a manufacturer’s coupon too, so you can double it.

There also was a $1/2 coupon in the paper recently (don’t remember which one though).

One more thought: If you signed up for the Kraft Free Summer pack, it came with a rebate form for $10 back when you spend $30. I believe these qualify, so hold off your purchases till the 23rd of May to use them toward the rebate. :)

But … ahhh …. don’t you have to spend $10 first to get that price??? OR … is it $10 before any card or coupon??

Yes, there is usually a $10 minimum purchase to use Safeway coupons. However, the items you buy with the coupons count towards the minimum. I believe the limit on the hot dogs is 5, so if you bought 5 hot dogs you would already be half way there. I am sure there will be other items that are a good deal, so we shouldn’t have any problem getting to the $10.

I am not certain, but I think their policy has changed, I know that you used to be able to use the coupons based on the store price at the time, not the coupon price. You could also use manufacturer coupons and get your price below $10, I am not sure if that is still the case. I will have to do some research and see what I can find regarding the policy.
