Christy, just had to share the fun I had last night … I like to save up my high-value coupons (like the freebies from Kraft First Taste) and then I wait until Safeway has their “$10-off purchase of $50″ coupon. My purchase rang up for just over $54 and my OOP was 3.92! This strategy has worked well for me; it’s a great way to extend the value of my coupons.

Where do you get the $10 off purchase of $50 coupon? I have never seen this before.
They have them in the Sunday paper occasionally, maybe 1/month or so.
Are they in the Tacoma News Tribune for Washington state?
Beth, We don’t the the coupons here in Western Washington, I think it mostly Oregon and other parts of Washington that get them on a regular basis.
