It seems as if just a handful of stores went 75% off today, which leads me to believe that the remaining stores will go 75% off Thursday, July 29th 2010. I think it would be worth a trip into your Target tomorrow (Thursday), because I believe most stores should go 75% off.
Do not trust the signs or the red stickers, I would make sure you check the price of an item by scanning it. If you see a team member marking things down, it may take them a long time to get through the entire department, because they need to put the discount stickers on ALL of the clearance items. Remember, once they scan a clearance item with the gun, all of the exact same items will ring up at the discounted price. If your store is currently only at 30% off, or they recently marked the toys down to 50% off they still should go 75% off.
The majority of the clearance at my store went to 75% off, with the exception of the Lego’s they only went to 50% off.
