Restaurant.com has come out with a new code that will get you a $25 restaurant.com gift certificate for only $2.00. To get the discount make sure you enter the code CLEARANCE at checkout. This discount is valid August 31st.
Restaurant.com allows you to buy a restaurant gift certificate at a deep discount, we use them on a regular basis and we love them. You will need to check the requirements on the restaurant you are purchasing from they usually require a $35 minimum purchase (or require you to purchase 2 entrees). You spend $35, and then you can use the $25 certificate, your out of pocket for the restaurant portion can be as low as $10, you do have to pay sales tax and tip on the total amount. When we go, our final total will usually end up around $22 – $25.
You do need to do some research to make sure the restaurant you choose is one worth visiting. I like to check out their individual website as well. If it is a place I have never heard of, then I check for reviews too.
Here are a couple things to remember (check the info of each restaurant):
- You can print your certificate right after you order it.
- There is minimum purchase before you can use your certificate (usually $35).
- Sometimes 18% gratuity will be added to your bill
- Don’t know where you want to go, consider purchasing a Dinner of the Month on Restaurant.com.
. You will be able to print one coupon for each month. I like this option, because if we plan on going some where out of town, I can print a certificate for the place we are heading to.
