CLEARANCE DEALS
If you are heading to Target, make sure you continue to the check the toy department for any returns people have made. I was able to find the Strawberry Shortcake set for only $4.98. This item was probably something that somebody bought at 50% off and then returned, I can tell, because the red sticker only had a 50% off price on it. Make sure you scan those items with the clearance stickers, lots of them should come up at 75% off even if the sticker doesn’t say it is. Let me know if you find any good deals over the next week or two.

This weekend was my first time using coupons at Target. I tried some of the returning deals listed above the other day and didn’t realize until I had gotten home only the Target coupons went through….not the others. Has anyone else had this happen at Target?

You might double check your receipt just to make sure, sometimes the manufacturer’s coupons are listed just under the product, they don’t always tally up at the bottom of the receipt like most stores.
I always watch closely to make sure everything is being deducted, but I don’t usually have a problem there.
Thats the same one I bought about a month ago before it went on 75% off. I returned it today
Oh well, I probably have the entire strawberry shortcake collection. I think I like them better than my daughter!
I was not sure where to post this but you are the only NW site I could find that posted target deals this week. I was at Target today and saw a $5 giftcard back when you buy 4 skintimate creams. The creams are priced at 2.24 each. There were .75 cent off coupons in the paper this 8/01 so the scenario would go something like this.
buy 4 skintimate creams totalling 9.96
use 4 .75 off coupons totalling 3.00
balance 6.96
get back $5 target giftcard
actually spend 1.96 for 4 shave creams or .49 cents each
I am going to try this tomorrow!
Note* you must buy 4 of the new cream ones I thought .49 cents each was pretty good:)

Anke – I am sorry, I totally left that match-up of the list. Yes, I had a Target coupon ($1.00) and a manufacturer’s coupon ($ .50) . Both of the coupons were available from the Target site. I don’t see the .50 coupon anymore though.
