How do I get this?

Do you know what areas are giving the RR? I’m Portland Oregon. Some are reporting it in other states and some are reporting points only.

Kellis – I am located in the NW (Washington State) and the ad shows a sale price of 3.49, and a register reward of $1.50.

Brenda – The Finish tabs can be purchased at Walgreens, and the coupon can be found in the Sunday edition (1/2) of most newspapers.

I’ve never shopped at Walgreens before, and am not familiar with the RR. Are they like a Catalina? Can I buy 3 boxes – use 3 coupons, and then get 3 RR back or how do they work that? Even though I’ve been couponing for quite a while now, going and doing something “new” like this makes me nervous & I don’t want to get an annoyed checker telling me “I can’t do that!” — if you know what I mean! :-) I’m in UT btw – so things may vary I guess.

@The Mom @ Babes in Hairland – The Register Rewards from Walgreens are very much like a Catalina coupon. They can be used on a future Walgreens purchase and usually expires within 2 weeks. There is a limit of one Register Reward per item for each transaction. If you wanted to do the offer again, you would need to do another transaction.

Also, if you are redeeming a Register Reward and are planning on getting more Register Rewards, you will have to use them on different deals. For instance, you can’t use the 1.50 Finish Register Reward to buy another box of Finish tabs. The Register Reward won’t print.

I just tried to do this deal today and my walgreens wouldn’t let me use a MQ and receive a RR. Bummer. The Cashier told me that ‘it would be like getting the item for free’. Haha I proudly told her ‘Why of course, that is why I am buying it!’. Anyone else have this problem?

Kellis- the Portland area doesn’t have this RR, we’re in the test area, we get “bonus points” instead of the RR. Because we’re a test area for the points program, our ad will vary slightly from the national ad.
