Can you use these hangtag coupons at a different store like Walgreens since it’s a Manufacturer’s Coupons?
Christy says
@San I don’t believe so, these are manufacturer coupons that are specifically for Fred Meyer.

Hmmm, this got me thinking that Wal-Mart’s new coupon policy would allow it. What do you think?
Randy says
the Wal Mart thing is a good idea so i searched. I think it wouldnt work because it is for all the vitamins, not specific.
From their website:
Competitors’ coupons
” A specific item for a specified price, for example, $2.99″
Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons for items with a specified price
Have a valid expiration date
Are acceptable in black and white

I was thinking more of the general MQ information because this does not say Redeemable ONLY at Fred Meyer it just has Fred Meyer on it, kind of like a Target logo on a MQ usable anywhere but because they are basically copied MQ’s that you only see in Fred Meyer I wasn’t sure. This is what I was looking at:
From their web site
•Manufacturers’ coupons
◦For dollar/cents off <-YES
◦For free items (except those printed off the Internet)<-NA with this MQ
◦Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons <-NA with this MQ
◦Must have "Manufacturer Coupon" printed on them<-YES
◦Must have a valid remit address for the manufacturer<-YES
◦Must have a valid expiration date<-YES
◦Must have a scannable bar code<-YES
◦May not be duplicated <-<- This is the one that made me question… because of the way Fred Meyer puts them out.
Guess one could ask at Wal-Mart and they would either say yay or nay
Christy says
@Dianne I was thinking the exact same thing. I am not sure if it will work, because it does look like they are photocopied. Maybe if you cut the coupon out of their Extra Savings Book, that one might work. Let us know if you give it a try.

Thank you so much!!!! Today I went and bought some bottles of folic acid at $.29 each, vitamin D at $.59 each and a big bottle of multivitamins for only $5.29. Great deal! Just wish they had ordered more because most of them were sold out.

Hey ladies!
So here is the deal- the coupons at Fred Meyer that say manufacture ARE manufacture coupons. They have an address for the store to send the coupon for reimbursement, so they CAN be used at any other stores.
Also- you can not use competitors coupons at Walmart with $ or % off. Basically, it must have a stated price. For example, that pantiliner Target coupon a while back for 1cent pantiliners. THOSE work, others do not. Unfortunately, most competitor coupons are $ or % off, so you can’t use them at Walmart.

i use these types of freddies coupons at my walmart everytime i go, they are MQs with a valid remitt to address and they do get reimbursed for them… this nature made deal was a great overage one! i like to think of this little trick as my dirty secret! for every bottle of vitamins i got from walmart i made 1.76! awesome deal, just plain awesome, also i used these coupons at freddies and made .51 a bottle, i never take cash back, but i use it on the other things in my basket 🙂
