Target Deals 2/5 – 2/11 (FREE Yes to Carrots Body Butter & Cheap Activia Yogurt)

by Christy on February 6, 2012

Here are this week’s coupon match-ups and clearance finds. There is a lot less clearance in every department right now, but there are still some great deals to be had if you keep an eye on those clearance end caps.

New to couponing at Target? Target will allow you to use one Target coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon together.  By “stacking” the coupons, it allows for even greater savings.  I love to not only use coupons at Target, but also shop their clearance deals.  If you have any questions, let me know.

CLEARANCE DEALS

Star Wars Electronic Helmet $9.98 (clearance – reg $19.99)
$5/1 printable coupon (toys)

Watch for these gloves to go 70% off (this photo was taken at the Puyallup Sunrise location over the weekend). I have currently seen them between 50-70% off. If you find them at 70% off they will be $ .60 for 2 pair. These would make nice gifts or stocking stuffers for next Christmas, I thought it would be fun for my daughter to do something similar to THIS for her friends next year with the gloves instead of sock. CHEAP!!!

Jewelry and watches were 50% off at my store (Kent, WA).

The Bullseye Bodega section has been marked down to 15% off. I wouldn’t jump on these deals just yet, you can find a better deal on individual items with coupons instead of buying these multipacks.

The amount of clearance is really starting to slow down. I would still keep an eye on the window covering an kitchen items, because they have not made it down to the 70% off markdown yet. There is also still a lot of men’s and women’s clothing clearance.

I started doing all my grocery shopping there and signed up for the 5% red card – they take 5% off of every purchase, every day – including wine and beer. We’ve since saved a TON of money! We got the debit card, so it won’t affect our credit and we are not tempted to buy things we don’t have money for. So… take those deals and use your 5% and your sitting pretty good!

How do you get the Barenaked coupons? I have tried to get them on their site and cannot find them. It may be that I have vision loss and am not looking at the right. ANy suggestions would be appreciated.

Go to http://www.bearnaked.com/winteractive/ and wait until the page loads. Scroll to the very bottom and right above the lodge you are going to see “Save $2.” Just fill out the brief form and print your coupon.

Was just going to comment on the jewelry (specifically the necklaces in the blue boxes shown in the photo)…the pendants on most of them are astrological signs or something, but I needed some chains to go with other pendants I was giving for Valentine’s gifts & picked them up. It saved me from spending a lot of money on chains themselves when I just unhooked the pendant and put my own on!

@Tanya That is brilliant!! Thanks for sharing that idea, I usually try to think out of the box when it comes to clearance, but that Idea didn’t even dawn on me. My daughter has a pendant she needs a necklace for too. I will be picking one up next time I head to Target. THANK YOU!!!
