I love this appetizer it is simple, but tastes so fresh and sweet. The aroma of the basil is amazing. Next time you have some guest coming over give this a try, you won’t be disappointed.

- 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/3 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1 loaf French bread, toasted and sliced
Dice tomatoes, put in a bowl, add Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic. Next, chop up basil and set aside
Mix together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper.
Add balsamic mix to tomatoes, cheese and garlic and toss together, then toss in basil.
Slice the loaf of bread in 1/3 inch thick, brush with olive oil or butter and toast in oven.
Plate the bread and add bruschetta mixture down the center of the bread.
