The Borders Summer Reading program is back! Your child can earn a FREE book when they read 10 books and fill out the reading log. Once the reading log is complete, take it to a Borders or Waldenbooks (if there is still one near you) and they can get a FREE book from on one of the pre-selected titles.
Don’t forget about the similar program that Barnes & Noble does too!

To celebrate the release of the Rick Riordan’s newest book, Border’s is giving away a FREE Lego Pharaoh’s Quest building set on May 7th at 2 pm. All the information on their site, says to call to reserve a spot and RSVP, however I called two of my local stores (Tukwila and Redmond) and was told by both of them that we did not need to reserve a spot.
I don’t think there is any way that they could have enough Lego’s for everyone that attends. I would call your local store to see what they say regarding the event. Let me know what you find out!

I love these coupons Borders releases! They have come out with a new in-store coupon that will take 50% off the retail price on any one item. Borders sells so many more things that just books, so you can use the coupon on Toys (Lego & Playmobil to name a few), Games, CD, DVD’s and more.
The coupon is valid December 14 -16 only. You must be a Borders Rewards member to use this coupon. You can sign up for FREE online.

Borders has released a new in-store coupon that will get you 40% off the list price of any one item! This coupon is only valid through 11/1.
You do not have to use this coupon on books, you could even use it on some of the toys they carry. This would be a great way to pick up a Lego set at 40% off!
