The Borders Summer Reading program is back!   Your child can earn a FREE book when they read 10 books and fill out the reading log.  Once the reading log is complete, take it to a Borders or Waldenbooks (if there is still one near you) and they can get a FREE book from on one of the pre-selected titles.

To celebrate the release of the Rick Riordan’s newest book, Border’s is giving away  a FREE Lego Pharaoh’s Quest building set on May 7th at 2 pm.    All the information on their site, says to call to reserve a spot and RSVP, however I called two of my local stores (Tukwila and Redmond) and was told by both of them that we did not need to reserve a spot.

I don’t think there is any way that they could have enough Lego’s for everyone that attends.   I would call your local store to see what they say regarding the event.  Let me know what you find out!

I love these coupons Borders releases!  They have come out with a new in-store coupon that will take 50% off the retail price on any one item.  Borders sells so many more things that just books, so you can use the coupon on Toys (Lego & Playmobil to name a few), Games, CD, DVD’s and more.

The coupon is valid December 14 -16 only.   You must be a Borders Rewards member to use this coupon. You can sign up for FREE online.

My kids are going to be thrilled with this freebie, they always have to pick up the glitter balls while we are waiting in the checkout line at Borders. They are so cool!
