JCPenney’s ad is advertising the Red Zone clearance, with final markdowns of 80% off original prices. There are also markdowns at 50% and 70% off. You can go HERE to find the sale online. I wonder if this will be there new way of doing their clearance instead of the additional 20, 40 and 50% off. The ad says NOW! the price you see is the price you pay! No math required! We will have to see if they continue to mark things down this way. It will be nice not having to do the math.

JCPenney is taking an additional 50% off their clearance prices. All of their clearance is already marked at least 50% off, so that makes a total of 75% off the retail price. This is one of the sales that I use to buy clothes ahead of time. It has been a HUGE moneysaver for our family.

Thanks to Stacy for reminding me about the 15% off survey coupon. If you have one, you can use that coupon on top of the sale prices for some amazing deals.

Allie and I took a trip to the mall today, so she could spend her Claire’s gift card. We stopped by JCPenney, and they had marked all of their kids outerwear to final clearance prices (75% off or more.) All of the kids coats were marked down to $14.97 (reg 49.99-79.99). Plus, they had some scarf, hat and glove sets marked down to 4.97 (reg 24.99). Right now they are also having an additonal 40% off the clearance prices. I got coats for next year for only $8.98, and the hat/scarf/mitten set was only $2.98.

They also had tons of women’s clothing marked down to 75% off with an additional 40% off.

Each JCPenney store marks things down differently depending on their inventory, so I can’t guarantee that every store will have these exact same markdowns.

It is worth checking out. For all the local people, I was at the JCPenney at South Hill mall. They had quite a few coats left.
