You may find Star Wars toys on clearance at your Target. I checked my store (Southcenter) and found several Star Wars items marked down to 50% off, some of the items are the Star Wars Helmets. I found them for only $9.98 (reg $19.99). There is a $5/1 printable coupon (click the “toys” category), so you can pick one up for only $4.98 if you find them marked down at your store too.

I have had a couple requests from people wanting to know exactly what clearance deals I buy at Target.   So, at the end of each month I plan on showing you exactly what clearance deals I picked up at Target that month.  I will share what I paid for them and what my plan is for those items.   I like to buy clothing off season, items for our gift closet, and many other items before we need them.   I find that by shopping this way it saves our family a lot of money.

I use the Target clearance markdown schedule to determine when I believe certain items in each department will be marked down, by doing this I am able to find a nice selection of items at 70% off. Shopping at the same store every week is key to learning more about the clearance levels and stock on hand. It’s not necessary to run to Target everyday if you study up on what day items in each department get marked down.

The is a larger amount of clearance in every department in January, so I purchased more this month than I do on a regular basis (thanks mainly in part to the BIG 70% off toy clearance) Here are the items I picked up in January, Christmas items were 90% off, and all other items were 70% off (with the exception of the Ninjago lego it was 50% off):

• Shirt $ .60 ($3.60 – $3/1 coupon)
• Jeans $5.98 (for my son, he actually needed a new pair)
• Pajamas $4.48 (for son, next year)

• Comforter $29.98  (This is the one I was probably most excited about. I had my eye on this set!  I also plan on picking up some new curtains if I am lucky.)

• Canisters $4.48 (I kept my eye on these for weeks! I wanted these for our bathroom)

CLEARANCE DEALS

Here are some clearance deals I found at the Kent, WA Target. Remember, clearance deals and prices may vary by location.

Last Thursday the sporting good clearance went 70% off, there were still some items left at my store. Including water bottles, baseball bats and fishing poles all at 70% off.

Most of the clearance window coverings were marked down to 50% off, this is just a sample they have TONS of window coverings on clearance.

There were some glasses at 50% off.

I saw a nice selection of womens, juniors, kids and toddlers Converse shoes on clearance at 50% off.

Here is an update for you with what I found on clearance at the Issaquah, WA store. There is still lots of clearance deals throughout the store. Remember, the clearance deals and prices will vary by location.

I found that the sporting goods department had been marked down to 70% off at the Issaquah store today. They have several air mattresses for camping.

There was a one set of golf clubs marked down to 70% off too.

Here are some other items I found in the sporting goods section:

• Baseball Bats
• Baseball Gloves
• Sporting Knives for fishing
• Basketball
• Bike Equipment

I found several art items that were marked down to 70% off.

There is still tons of clothing clearance in every department, there were 4 racks of 70% off of the women’s department.

If you printed of the $3/1 Merona women’s clothing coupon (no longer available) make sure you check the clearance racks for good deals. I was able to pick up this shirt above for only $ .60 after the coupon.

There is still a nice selection of baby equipment at 50% off. If these make it to 70% off they will be marked down on a Monday.

There are tons of sheets and curtains at 30% off.

Another section you may want to keep an eye on, is the men’s razors. I found about 1/2 of the razors in this department were on clearance at 30% off. We will need to keep an eye on these to see when they go to 50% off.
