When you are heading to the Disney Parks, comfortable shoes are a MUST!!! My sister introduced me to Keen shoes about 4 years ago, and now I am IN LOVE!! I remember when I saw her cute shoes and asked here where she got them, she told me “you won’t like them?” I said “but they are so cute and I love that your toes are protected. They aren’t wimply flip flops, but they are still summery.” She then clarified, she told me I would love them because they were so comfortable, but I would NOT love them because of the price (I am a WAY more frugal than my Nordstrom shopping sister).
Keen’s are expensive shoes, but they are so worth it. They are made well, and incredibly comfortable. I started with one pair 4 years ago, and I now own 5 pairs. LOVE THEM!!!! I have also convinced my husband that they are the most fabulous shoes ever and he now owns a pair of Keen hiking boots and a pair of Keen sandals for our trip.
This pair of Keen Paulina slides was my most recent purchase, and the ones I will be wearing on our trip to Disney World. If you are interested in some super comfortable shoes for the Disney Parks (or really anywhere) here are a couple of places you can pick some up some Keen’s at a discount.

I thought I’d love Keens and went on the hunt before our trip to Disneyland, but I have a high arch… when I tried them on, they just didn’t feel great. So, I tried Chaco sandals and am in LOVE! They are super comfortable and fit to my foot. They don’t flop around like flip flops and all the straps are adjustable. They are also an expensive buy, but my neighbor’s have lasted for 8 years with her wearing them a lot! Well worth the price.

There are some Keen’s at the Nordstrom sale right now for about $60 (regularly $82). I’m not a huge fan, but this is a good price for a shoe that doesn’t often go on sale!

I was going to ask about the arch. Thanks so much for answering my question before I asked, Beth. I guess I will hold off on Keens until I can try them in person and be sure they will work for my arch. I will look into Chaco sandals, too.

Love, love, love Keens! Great post! Always wondering where to find them at a discount. Totally 100% worth paying even full price, though. And somehow, they keep my stinky feet from smelling.

I LOVE Keen. I have a pair of Mary Janes that I bought a few years ago. I wish I could find that style again. I get more compliments on those shoes.

thanks for the link up Christy! I have to say I am a HUGE fan of Keens as well! Them and Tevas are my faves for sandales!

I am currently going to nursing school, and as a nurse I am probably going to be on my feet a lot. Anyone know if they are comfortable for standing all day?

Not only do I love Keen’s, but I bought a pair for my daughter last year for school and they were awesome! She is 5 and needed something that she could run and play in but also get through the snow to the bus. Their Shay boots were great! Pull on and off – no ties. Extra cute in magenta and extra rugged. I will be buying another pair (maybe the exact same) for winter this year!

I have a wide foot and the Keens just don’t work for me. I bought a pair and had to send them back. I also have a big foot and wear a size 11, but they don’t make a half size up. Boo! My husband got a pair for the summer and absolutely loves them! I paid $70 for his and, at first, he was really upset about the price. After wearing them for one day, he understood and is so glad I got them for him. This summer, I bought a pair of Fit-Flops for myself and they are absolutely amazing. Most comfortable sandals I have worn in years!

I have wide feet and high arches and the Keen Venice H2 are my favorite shoes ever. I actually bought them for Disneyworld last year and just wore them out this month, because I wear them so much. They do wonders for the people in my family with planter fasciitis.

I agree with Beth. Although I do love Keens, Chaco sandals rule. I recently bought my first pair and am already shopping for the next. Luckily, Shoes.com currently has $20 off and free shipping (I bought them through Amazon.com). I probably would not stand all day in Keens (except for my Keen hiking boots) but the Chacos I could walk and stand in forever – excellent arch support and fully adjustable.

I have a high arch and Keens fit me well so try them on before you rule them out.

We buy our kids Keens and they last for 2 summers, sometimes longer!! We wait for the Nordstroms half yearly anniversary sale, which happens to be going on until Aug 2, and they are half off! So RUN to your nearest Nordstroms tomorrow and buy some!! You won’t regret it. The rice paper bag Keen’s are what ones I wear and they are toooo cute!!
