Here is a fun breakfast recipe sure to please your kids…French Toast Roll Ups! You can fill with any mixture you would like, Jam and Cream Cheese are a great choice. I plan on giving Nutella a try, I think that would be yummy!
Ingredients:
- 16 slices Soft Bread
- 2 Eggs
- 4 TBSP Milk
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- Filling of your Choice (I used Cream Cheese and Strawberry Jam)
Trim the crust off of all the bread.
With a rolling pin roll your bread flat.
Spread your filling on just one side (just a small amount) of the bread and and roll up.
In a shallow dish combine eggs and milk and whisk together until well blended. In a different shallow dish combine sugar and cinnamon and mix well.
Melt butter in a pan over low-medium heat. Coat each one of your bread rolls in your egg mixture. Place in pan with your seam down. Cook until golden brown turning, making sure to turn and cook on all sides.
Once rolls are completely cooked, remove the rolls and coat each one in cinnamon sugar mixture. Enjoy!
I would love to hear your suggestions of what filling you think would be good inside these.

Yum! So many possible choices… pb and banana would be good, or you could even skip the cinammon and sugar in favor of something savory… ham and cheese, spinach/mushrooms, etc.
