Here are all of the items that I found at the Renton, WA Target today. Please bear in mind that I shop for several families (sisters and friends), so all of these items are not mine. I wouldn’t want you to think I am a crazy toy hoarding lady. Actually, I might just be a crazy toy hoarding lady, but we don’t need to tell people that, OK?

Hey All! Is anybody else getting excited like I am for the Target toy clearance to go 75% off? If you checked out your store, please leave a comment with the city/state and what kind of markdowns you found at your store. It will be a big help for all of us. Once I find that people have found things 75% off, I will start a new post where everyone can link up there deals.
Here is some information I have so far:
I know that somebody in Florida stopped at 3 stores this morning, one of which went 75% off (the other 2 did not). So, if you know that your store marks their toys down on Wednesday it might be worth a trip.

When you are heading to the Disney Parks, comfortable shoes are a MUST!!! My sister introduced me to Keen shoes about 4 years ago, and now I am IN LOVE!! I remember when I saw her cute shoes and asked here where she got them, she told me “you won’t like them?” I said “but they are so cute and I love that your toes are protected. They aren’t wimply flip flops, but they are still summery.” She then clarified, she told me I would love them because they were so comfortable, but I would NOT love them because of the price (I am a WAY more frugal than my Nordstrom shopping sister).
Keen’s are expensive shoes, but they are so worth it. They are made well, and incredibly comfortable. I started with one pair 4 years ago, and I now own 5 pairs. LOVE THEM!!!! I have also convinced my husband that they are the most fabulous shoes ever and he now owns a pair of Keen hiking boots and a pair of Keen sandals for our trip.
This pair of Keen Paulina slides was my most recent purchase, and the ones I will be wearing on our trip to Disney World. If you are interested in some super comfortable shoes for the Disney Parks (or really anywhere) here are a couple of places you can pick some up some Keen’s at a discount.
Rue La La: Get a $10 credit for signing up! (may take 48 hours for credit to show up) Plus, they are currently having a Keen sale with discounts up to 40% off for only 2 more days. (Thanks Steals & Deals!)
ShoeStation.com:Use the code cashboxx for 20% off and free shipping if you spend $59.95.
Sierra Trading Post: They have lots of Keen’s at discounted prices. Use the code ALBTS2KX for an additional 20% off.
Anybody else a big fan of Keen shoes? What brand of shoes to you find super comfortable for all day walking?

CLEARANCE DEALS
This is the exact week that the toy clearance items went to 75% off, so I am hoping it will happen again this week too. You can read more about the Target clearance HERE, and read some tips for shopping the sale HERE. The markdown should take place on Thursday, or possibly Wednesday depending on when your store usually marks down the toys. Make sure you come back here to share you deals when the clearance has started, I will have a “link up” so we all can share the items we found. I can’t wait!!!

I have gotten a lot of questions regarding the Target 75% off toy clearance on Facebook and via email, so I will answer some of the questions, here, because I am sure there are others that have similar questions.
Jacy asked “So…. does everyone go Wednesday morning AND Thursday morning to make sure you don’t miss it? I’m trying to figure this whole thing out.”
I do not go to Target everyday checking on the prices of the toys, there are many reliable sources online that help me determine if it is worth it to head to the store or not. Since, I live on the West Coast, I usually check the Gotta Deal Target thread to see what others on the East Coast have found. I can usually find out if the clearance is taking place before our stores even open. Now, if I lived on the East coast I would probably check my Target on Wed & Thursday of this week, because the markdown was this exact week last year. A couple of years ago, Target toys were markdown on Wednesday, but I think most stores are now marking the toys down on Thursdays now.
Lisa asked “When they change the percentage off in the computer does it take effect right away in the AM or can it be any time during the day? I want to go but the nearest store is 40 minutes away and I don’t want to waste a trip”
The markdown for the toys and other departments are different than the holiday clearance that can be marked down via a computer. When the toys get marked down each individual item will need to be scanned with a pricing gun before the new price will take effect. If you are interested in two identical items, only one of them will need to be scanned with the gun, once one of the items is entered, they discounted price is good on all identical items. In the past the scanning team starts at my stores around 9:00 am, they are usually still scanning items when I get there. If there is something you want that still have a higher price, scan it with the store price check scanners. If it isn’t 75% off, then you can ask on of the employees with the pricing guns if they would mind seeing if that items has been marked down. I have NEVER had an employee tell me no, they are generally very nice about it.
Shelly asked “My store is only at 30% off this week, so won’t it be a month or so before they are 75% off”
Typically, Target follows a markdown schedule where items go from 30 to 50 then to 75% off, and it generally happens in 2 week intervals. However, when they are clearing out departments to make way for the new seasons merchandise they just want to clear it out, so items may go from 30 off directly to 75% off.
Do you have a Target toy clearance question? Leave a comment with your question, and I will answer them for you in another Q & A post.
