Honey Garlic Shrimp
Recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction
- 1/3 honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 lb uncooked shrimp
- 1 tsp olive oil
- green onions to garnish
Whisk together honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Place shrimp in large plastic resealable bag and pour 1/2 of the marinade mixture into bag, and work it through to make sure all shrimp is coated nicely. Allow to marinate for 20 min or up to 12 hours or even more flavor.
Heat olive oil in skillet over medium high heat. Place shrimp in skillet (discard the marinade). Cook shrimp about 45 seconds or until they are no longer pink, flip shrimp over and pour in remaining marinade and cook until shrimp are done (about 1 minute).
I like to serve the shrimp and cooked marinade over rice and garnish with green onions. Enjoy!
