I am thrilled to announce that I will be giving away a Silhouette Portrait! If you have been wanting one of these wonderful little machines, now would be a great time to purchase one, since Silhouette has a special money saving promo this month.

For complete instructions on how to make these candy jars, refer to this post HERE. To make the topper I taped a toothpick onto the cutout and pushed it into the caulk while it was still slightly wet. I made sure to let it try just a tad so it was just a little stiff.
One lucky Thrifty and Thriving readers is going to win a Silhouette Portrait, which contains the following:

I currently work with adolescent girls with significant trauma histories. The girls enjoy giving back to the community in many ways. We would use this machine for cards, t shirts for bowl-a-thons, 5k races and kick ball tournaments, decorating in various ways for community bake sales, decorating the girls rooms in various ways. This machine could also benefit the girls individually, allowing them to create life books and vision boards, giving them a sense of self identity. Our staff prides themselves on creating goodbye books for the girls as well, allowing them to move on with a sense of belonging and with meaningful relationships, this would allow the staff to expand on their creativity!
