Every month I head to Costco and share some of the new or exciting finds. Keep in mind that selection and prices may vary by location. The first of the year always brings furniture and believe it or not we start to see items for spring like girls dresses and swimsuits. Here is a peek at some of the fun items (and markdowns) I found at my Covington, WA Costco.
Here’s a couple of Costco tips for you: If an item ends in 7, it is Costco’s version of a clearance item. Also, if you notice an asterisk in the top right hand corner of the sign with the price, that means it is a seasonal item and will not be stocked again (it may come back next year, but it won’t be re-stocked after the current supply is depleted).
You can now find fruit trees at Costco. There are priced at $12.99
I also found a nice assortment of spring bulbs priced at $12.49. I am SO READY for spring to get here!
These raised gardens beds are really cool, but kind of pricey at $179.99. If you are handy or have a handy spouse you could make these on your own.
My husband bought me a rain barrel for my birthday once. I really do love mine! It fills up in the winter and spring and in the summer I have plenty of FREE water to water my plants. These are priced at $79.99 and they look nice too.
Lots of other supplies for your yard and garden like Turf Builder, Round-Up, garden hoses and more.
What fun would a trip to Costco be if I didn’t meander through the kitchen section. I love these bowls and they are a super price at only $15.99 with instant savings.
I adore these wire baskets and would love to fill my pantry with them. It’s never going to happen, but a girl can dream. These are $19.99 for a set of 2.
Here’s an item I almost bought. Our bathroom sinks could use some serious organizing and these may help me do the trick. There is also an instant savings on these making the 3 piece set only $15.99.
I pick up this all seasons door mat every year. It’s a great size and it’s sturdy too . Right now it’s a super deal at only 9.99 with the $3.00 instant savings.
Markdown on the flameless candles to $24.97.
This is an amazing deal! These Ricardo lightweight carry-on luggage pieces are only $34.97.
Crocs for kids are in-stock and priced at only $12.99
These blankets are so soft and priced great at only $8.99! They usually have these year round but now they have in some pretty pastel colors for spring.
I love these Resort Towels. They are $9.99. I found stripes or polka dots.
Snorkels and fins are in-stock for adults and kids. We’ve always bought these sets at Costco, they work great.
I found a nice markdown on the Radio Flyer wagon, only $49.97. Not many were left in-stock though.
Huge Costco Pepperoni Pizzas are only sale for $6.99. I picked one up for dinner. I love an easy dinner. Now that my 3 oldest boys have moved out we can feed our family with one pizza.
The Organic Lemonade is back in-stock! Don’t you hate it when they take away some of your favorite items?
I found this limited edition S’mores bread by Franz interesting. Not interesting enough to buy, but still interesting. These are $5.59.
I did however find the Fresh Gourmet Cheese Crisps interesting enough to buy. They are great for soups an salads. These were $6.79.
I thought this was a decent price on the Simple Micellar wipes (which I love). They are $9.99 for a 3-pack, which makes them $3.33 each. The price at regular stores is around $4.99 so you may be able to get them cheaper with coupons and a sale. Sometimes, you just go for a good deal and convenience though.
Here are the samples I had at Costco
- Mariani Crystalized Ginger – Yuck! Not a fan.
- IBC Root Beer – Yummy!
- Mozzerella Sticks – Already a fan.
- Schwartz Bros. Lemon Bars – Delicious!
What have you been picking up at Costco lately? I’d love to hear about some of your Costco faves!
Make sure you check out this month’s Costco Coupon Mailer match-ups over at This Beautiful Frugal Life, she breaks down the cost for you and let’s you know which item are a super deal.

I can’t believe you don’t like candied ginger. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.
And why can’t you have wired baskets in your pantry? I do!
Christy says
@WendyP I could have wired baskets, it would just cost me too much to fill my pantry with them. : )
