This is such a fun day! I love when the toy clearance goes to 70% off at Target, it gives us all the opportunity to stock up on toys for gifts throughout the year at amazing prices. Here are the items I found today. I started at the Issaquah store and then went to the Factoria (Bellevue) Target.
I was beyond excited to find these Nerf items, we have 4 boys and you can’t go wrong with Nerf at our house.
- Nerf Vantage Sword $4.25
- Nerf Klaw Hatchet $3.28
- Nerf Shield & Dagger $ 6.58
These are some items that I picked up for us and for my sister. I try my best to pick up new games at this sale, so we can bring out a new game several times throughout the year. It makes for a fun family night. I was happy to find 3 games this time around!
- Scribblish $7.22
- Pictionary Bend-A-Clues $6.28
- 5 Second Rule $5.38
- Liv Fashion Accessories $4.48
- Matchbox Ship $11.68
- Mega Bloks Cat Constructor $7.48
- Leap Frog Tag Reader $11.68
- K’nex Double Shot Coaster $14.98
- Kreo Transformer set $2.63
I picked up all of these items for my friend Shelley (she’s a contributor here at Thrifty & Thriving). She recently had foot surgery, so she can’t drive or walk right now. I had to help the girl out!
- Bratz Bus $14.98
- Bratz Masquerade dolls $6.68
- Liv Styling set $5.98
- Liv doll $5.08
- Barbie set $14.98
My husband was a trooper and hit some Target stores this morning too. What a guy! I can’t wait to see what he comes home with, I will be sure to post photos of his finds sometime late tonight or tomorrow morning. I have received some emails with others shopping trips and I hope to get some of those posted soon. Don’t forget to check out the Thrifty and Thriving Facebook page, lots of readers and posting photos of their deals over there.

I am so sick I called out of work. My poor little guy has been an angel, while Mommy makes a permanent spot on the couch. But I am considering going out real quick to check the local Target, man I’ve lost it.

Just so you know, that Scribblish box has my fingerprints on it. 🙂 I was at the Issaquah Target last night and really wanted it. Unfortunately when I scanned it, it wasn’t marked down yet. So I put it back. Was going to go back tonight but you beat me to it. Oh well. Hope you enjoy it! 🙂

I must say that I was the first customer at the Target in Spring Valley, NY. I scored some great deals. I was able to get the Smart Cycle for only $22 from its original price of $8 and got some other great toys. I then went back on my lunch break and scored some more great deals!! The trunk of my car, back and front seats were loaded with goodies!! Thanks for the “heads up” of when this sale was going to start!!

Man, my Target hardly had anything. Lucky you guys.

@Kat Feel better soon!

Would it be worth going tomorrow or too picked over?
Stephanie Werner says
Does this mean that the January 75% off won’t happen?
Christy says
@Stephanie This is the same sale at the January 75% off sale, but instead it only goes down to 70% off, because that is the new level that Target marks down their items too.
Christy says
@jere ann I would say a trip would be worth it anytime over the next week or so. There are always lots of toys that get returned and then you can pick up some of those.
Stephanie says
Christy- I see you got the pictionary. If you print the coupon for $5 off a pictionary on coupons.com you could take your receipt and coupon to get the $5 back and make it only $1.28! I have done that before and it is not a problem.
Stephanie says
Sorry it is coupons.com through hasbro.com. Here is the link. https://www.hasbro.com/discover/Play-Saver.cfm
Christy says
Thanks Stephanie, I actually had the coupon with me, but unfortunately the game I bought was made by Mattel, so I couldn’t use the Hasbro coupon on the game.
