I have started a new feature here at Thrifty and Thriving, where I head to Costco each month and share some of the new or exciting finds at Costco. Keep in mind that selection and prices may vary by location, I found these deals at the Issaquah and Covington, WA locations.
Here’s a couple of Costco tips for you: If an item ends in 7, it is Costco’s version of a clearance item. Also, if you notice an asterisk in the top right hand corner of the sign with the price, that means it is a seasonal item and will not be stocked again (it may come back next year, but it won’t be re-stocked after the current supply is depleted).
The first of the year brings in lots of furniture at Costco. You will find couches, room sets, mattresses and more.
This 4 piece set includes 2 chairs and a 2 piece table set, it is priced at $249.99, which is a pretty great price for the set.
This room divider can be used laying sideways are standing upright and is price at only $99.99. This is a great price considering all the bins you get with it.
February brings in the lawn and garden supplies at Costco. Before you know if we’ll be mowing our lawns again and having to weed. YUCK!
These garden gloves have an instant rebate making the 3-pack only $6.99, you instantly save $3. The regular price on these are $9.99.
I was surprised to find a whole row at my Costco dedicated to Organic products, I was even
presented with a coupon book

I always love checking out the books when I head to Costco, especially the cookbooks. Who doesn’t need a cookbook devoted to only bacon. Can a cookbook get any cooler, I submit that it cannot!
Here is a markdown I found at the Covington Costco, this Slate Lazy Susan was marked down to $9.97.
I found these new Bavarian Cream Horns (6 pack) for $9.99, and they look gooood!
Another new find were these Schwartz Brother Bakery Brioche Rolls (say that 5 times fast). I haven’t tried them yet, but I might try them out soon. These were $4.99.
Plus, my store finally brought back the Panda Express Orange Chicken sauce. Woot!
What have you been picking up at Costco lately? I’d love to hear about some of your Costco faves!
Make sure you check out this month’s Costco Coupon Mailer match-ups over at This Beautiful Frugal Life, she breaks down the cost for you and let’s you know which item are a super deal.

Thank you for the great information…it is great to have this about Costco. We are new to Costco so any help is appreciated because it is a bit overwhelming.

Those room dividers are a fantastic quality. We bought two last year for our home office/craft room and just bought a third for that room this year when we saw them. It is so nice that they come with the canvas bins also.
