We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.
One of the ways we are helping reduce our money out of pocket for our vacation is by saving gift cards that we get for FREE. I add all the gift cards we get into an envelope and write how much they are worth. So far, we are up to $145, here is where these gift cards came from:
$100 Disney Gift Card – I got this one for signing up for the Disney Rewards Visa card. I got a $100 gift card by after I used the Visa one time. That’s like FREE money!!
$20 Target Gift Card – I got this one because I had a coupon for a FREE $20 Target gift card with a filled prescription. They often have a free $10 gift card with prescription, but I have never seen one for $20. This coupon was a print out at the register after I bought something.
$5 Target Gift Card – I got this one when I bought certain Quaker products from Target awhile back.
$20 MasterCard Gift Card – This one came from AT & T, because I signed up for automatic payments.
What will we be doing with these gift cards? The Disney card will easily get used at Disneyworld for food or souvenirs. We will use the Target cards for snacks, sunscreen or even souvenirs. We can use the MasterCard anywhere we want to.
Saving any gift cards you earn will help you get more spending money for your vacation, without any more money out of your pocket. Watch for any opportunity to earn gift cards, and take advantage of them.
