Fried Rice is a staple when it comes to Chinese food, but it’s not always the quickest and easiest to make. Here is a simple version of Fried Rice that’s sure to please your family. I love serving this with the Orange Chicken I pick up at Trader Joe’s.
Simple Fried Rice Ingredients:
- 4 cups Cooked Rice
- 3 TBSP Butter
- 1 Onion, diced
- 12 oz Frozen Peas and Carrots
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 3 beaten Eggs
Melt butter in large non-stick skillet. Sautee onions until transparent.
Add frozen peas and carrots and heat until they are thawed and tender. Push vegetables to one side of pan and scramble eggs on the other side until they are set.
Once eggs are cooked, mix with the vegetables. Add soy sauce and stir to mix well. Gradually add the rice to prevent it from clumping and to ensure that everything is mixed well. Heat until hot and enjoy!
