Refreshing Watermelon Key Lime Slushie

Are you looking for a refreshing drink of those warm summer months? Give this Watermelon Key Lime Slushie a try. The unique flavor combination is so refreshing!

Watermelon Key Lime Slushie Ingredients (Makes approx. 3 1/2 cups)

  • 3 cup Watermelon (cut in cubes)
  • 6-8 Key Limes
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 cup Ice

prep limes

Place watermelon in freezer for 1 hour.   Zest key limes.  Next, cut and juice the limes.

add to blender

Add frozen watermelon to a blender, add sugar, lime juice and lime zest.  Pulse until blended well. If the slushy seems too thick, gradually add up to 1/2 cup water. Add crushed ice and blend.

Watermelon Key Lime Slushie

Transfer to glasses and garnish with key line slices. Enjoy!
