Independence Day will be here before we know it. I am thrilled that the the 4th of July lands on a Friday this year, because it means we get a 3-day weekend! Sometimes when we have a 3-day weekend we love to spend it in the great outdoors camping as a family. One of our favorite camping destinations is Fort Stevens State Park in Oregon. There are so many fun things to do there like beach-combing, freshwater lake swimming, trails, a historic shipwreck, and a historic military fort to explore. Another great part about camping is the fun camp food like foil dinners and S’mores. Yum!
Rayovac provides many of the items we take with us on our camping trips like flashlights, lanterns, headlamps and even the 7 Hour Power. These items are powered up with Rayovac Alkaline Batteries which are made in the good ‘ol USA. In fact, both Rayovac Alkaline Batteries and the Rayovac Hearing Aid Batteries are made in the USA.
While we are camping I often use my iPhone for geo-gaching and photos so the battery can drain quickly. This is one of the reasons why I love the handy Rayovac 7-Hour Power, because I can use it in the middle of nature where no outlet is available. I love it! I’d love to hear what plans you have for the 4th of July.
