I got out of the house for some “me” time, and I did what I like to do best – shop at Target! I stopped at 2 stores, and I am sharing with you what I bought as well as all the clearance deals I found. Remember, clearance deals will vary from store to store, so you may not find the same deals at your store. It’s always fun to look and see what you might find though!
Targets coupon policy say that when the coupon value is more than the product cost, the price of the coupon may be adjusted down. I haven’t had any problem with the coupons being redeemed at full value, you may or may not have the same experience as me. I figured there would be overage from the body wash, so I used that to go towards the clearance toy I found. My final price for all items above was $3.78 (before tax).

There were quite a few toys marked down to 75% off at the Kent location.
Almost all of the clearance toys were marked 75% off, there were a few that were only 50% off, but still a nice selection at 75% off. All of the Schleich toys were 75% off at Kent.
I found several items in the sporting goods section marked down to 75% off. All of the clearance bike items (locks, spare tires, helmets) were down to 75% off.
I found an entire end cap filled with decorative hooks marked down to 75% off.
Next, I headed to Issaquah, and picked up the following items for only $2.00 (before tax).
(3) Nivea for Men @ 2.55

There weren’t too many amazing clearance deals, but I did find the following:
There was an entire endcap with kids rain boots. These can be found in the gardening section, not the shoe section. All of these were marked down to $3.74 (reg $14.99), they were 75% off. These were at Issaquah.
I would love to hear about any deals you have found at Target lately! You can find all of this weeks coupon match-ups HERE.

Great job on the shopping! Now I just have to go tomorrow (addicted to that shampoo I tell ya!), plus those rain boots (thanks for window shopping for me)…have been waiting as I want to stock up for next year when my daughter can actually fit into the smallest size! 😉

Wow! I have almost NONE of those things marked down to 75% off at my stores. Nice job with the Nivea…love that overage!

Is this (deal finding) like having a full time job?
Carrot Jello says
and, how many times a week do you shop?
Christy says
@Carrot Jello – It’s more like a part time job!
Honestly, I usually shop at Target 1 or 2 times a week (once is mainly to check out deals for the blog, and they other is to buy things my family needs).
I usually head to 2 grocery stores sometime during the week (one trip is to get what we are out of and the other is a stock up on great deals).
I don’t usually shop at Walgreens or Rite Aid unless there is an amazing deal. They require too much work in my opinion.
Last night was a “I just needed to get out of the house night”. I headed to the library (another one of my favorite places), 2 Targets and Panera Bread – just for fun!

Terrific!!! I did see on the second set that you have 5 Nivea coupons listed for the set of 3 mens and other set of 2….might confuse some! ;-P
I don’t often shop at Target but I’ve got a stack of Q’s and a list of stuff…hopefully the pricing at the Vancouver store will be good and I’m going to check out the clearance too! Rain boots…my little girl could use some!
Did you get the $5 gift card for the John Frieda items? I’m going to see about getting their haircolor…and maybe some other items as well. (I want to find out if the gift cards are limited to one per person or anything…)
As always, THANKS for the great info!! Love your posts!

You always score! I went to Issaquah yesterday and NO good clearance! 🙁

I am headed to the Woodinville Target in a bit! I saw another post yesterday that the “old spice” body wash is on clearance in a lot of stores and comes as a 2 pack?! I have a couple of BOGO’s and $1/2 coupons!! =)

Which Target did you find the boots? I was at the Hazel Dell, WA Target yesterday looking for boots for my son and the only boots they had were the frog and fireman boots and they were still full price 🙁 Please let me know. Thanks!
Christy says
@Anke – Thanks for noticing that! I just copied and pasted the info. from my first trip and I forgot to change the numbers. I fixed it. Wouldn’t want anyone to think I was cheating!
ashley says
NVM just saw they were at Issequah lol. Thanks!
Christy says
@Stefanie – I was at Issaquah, and I found the Stratego game and the boots there. I agree there weren’t as many great finds as at Kent, but there were a few deals. Plus, they had TONS of the Nivea in stock.
Christy says
@Ashley – I found the boots 75% of at Issaquah WA. I have seen these on clearance at ALL Targets (ranging from 50-75 off), you can find these in the gardening section, not in the normal shoe section. Hope that helps
ashley says
That does. Thanks for the tip! I will swing by when I stop by Payless Shoes later today. Thanks again!

I was so excited to do the Revlon nail tools deal (coupons @ checkout) and wouldn’t you know, my Target doesn’t sell Revlon nail tools? grrrrr. 🙁
Shannon says
Thank you for this!!! I have been wanting to get my son rainboots forever! I was refusing to pay full price. I stopped at Everett, WA target, and they were there!!!!!!!!! Made my day!

How much Schleich was left at Kent? Trying to decide if it’s worth the trek out there. Were there any being clearanced at South Hill, does anyone know? I called Bonney Lake and they were regular price.

Watch out at Target. I have been doing the Revlon deals for a few weeks now using the $5.00 off 2 tools. My cashier was scanning all my coupons and somehow they beeped, but didn’t scan into the system. I was too busy going through my purse to find cash…I was SO sad to not have more catalinas pop out ( I figured the deal was over) but didn’t notice until after the transaction when I paused for a moment to look at the receipt cause I felt my total was higher than I calculated. The two $5/2 Revlon tools coupons didn’t scan! She helped one more person and then I let her know she missed em. She took one look, apologized, scanned em again at the same register (sometimes they make you go to customer service), and gave me $10 cash. I didn’t get any catalinas….such a sad day! I was enjoying getting all the stocking stuffers for Christmas done early!
I also got the Old Spice Body wash with the BOGO, Target, and other coupons stacked etc. I am very disappointed that Target does not price adjust once something goes on clearance! I literally bought the sets one day before they marked them down 50%! I even asked a manager and he said they only price adjust for a sale NOT clearance items he said I could return the items and then re-buy them. I let him know I used coupons and I didn’t have anymore to replace the old ones. I looked online and he wasn’t feeding me a line about their price adjustment policy. I guess it would have only saved me $6.00, but hey thats a few bucks I’d like off my bill! It’s nice to know for the future, since I have seen the sets several times during the year.
I still am in LOVE with Target!
Christy says
@Allison – I think the Revlon Catalina’s have stopped. I didn’t get any the last 2 times I used them. It was fun while it lasted!

I found some of the old spice boxed sets, a large body wash with a smaller body was for $2.94 at Lakestevens walmart they had them at Marysville yesterday as well. I used my b1g1 coupon. Also Marysville had quite a few boy toys on 75% off including transformers, bacagans, and batman shake and go cars.

Thanks so much! Scored some in Hillsboro for my son and a friend’s children. This made my day:)

Yesterday, I found Peppermint Mocha Coffeemate Liquid Creamer (15 oz) on clearance for $1.25 but it rang up at 64 cents. I had a coupon from Coffeemate’s website for 55 cents off so each bottle only cost me 9 cents!!!
J says
Why were the toys 75% off? I thought that didn’t happen again until July?
Thanks!

Btw, the Redmond Target still had pairs of rainboots (labeled as Garden Boots) for 75% off. There were about 5 pairs of the bright green ones (all size 10-11) and about 6 pairs of the pink ones (not sure of size). I bought a green pair for $3.74 (before tax).
